Pre-requisites: Topic 1.

On the third Saturday of every month, instead of the Servant-Leadership Course, we encourage students to participate in the "Intro to Islam & the Roots of Islamophobia" talk. The purpose of this topic is to give you the basic tools necessary to both give that talk and manage that event. The first module describes some principles and strategies for planning an event (Module 1). The second module provides resources and guidance on the content of the presentation (Module 2). The final module in this section is designed to get you to think about the role of such events in shaping the "narrative" of Islam in America, as well as how to bring your personal experience to bear upon the presentation (Module 3).
